Hypori appoints Jim Cushman as President of Commercial Markets and CPO
Hypori announced appointment of Jim Cushman, a trusted high-tech industry visionary and leader, as President of Commercial Markets and Chief Product Officer.
Cushman will lead Hypori’s strategic growth and expansion into commercial markets such as FinTech, Health Care, and other Corporate Enterprises in need of protecting their sensitive data from cybersecurity attacks. Hypori is a zero-trust solution that significantly reduces costs associated with device management, Mobile OS versions, and the potentially damaging costs related to data breaches on BYOD devices. Hypori enables secure BYOD – employees own the phone; the company owns the virtual device in their controlled environment
Jim Cushman brings to Hypori 3 decades of entrepreneurial grit, strategic product development, and proven high growth experience. Cushman’s addition to Hypori stacks the deck in favor of its solutions in BYOD/BYOAD Mobile Solutions and Cloud Edge Computing. In his new role at Hypori, Cushman will assemble and lead Hypori’s mission of enabling secure, edge access from any device, everywhere. In addition, as Hypori’s Chief Product Officer, he will oversee product strategy, management, engineering, and operations.

Cushman’s highly-accomplished career has focused on massively scaling and growing mission-critical product-centric technology companies. Before joining Hypori, Cushman served as CPO at Collibra, where he successfully established a product strategy and vision for Data Intelligence, built an A-team of practitioners, and helped grow the company to over $165M in under 2.5 years – tripling its growth in record time. Before Collibra, Cushman served as SVP and GM for Veeva Systems, where he helped expand the company’s public market cap by nearly 500% in 3 years. Before that, Cushman served as president of commercial & products at Novetta Solutions, an advanced analytics company.
Cushman is a coveted and influential speaker at national technology and growth conferences, holds eight technology patents and pending patents, and serves as a Strategic Advisor to numerous software startups. He has a BS in Management and Finance from Purdue University.
