SecureMac released MacScan 2.9.3, which features tracking cookie detection and cleaning for Google’s Chrome browser.
MacScan is the premier Macintosh security program, protecting you against the latest malware and privacy threats for Apple Mac OS X, offering protection against keystroke loggers, trojan horses, and other spyware.
MacScan also cleans up Internet browsers by deleting caches, browsing histories and more, ensuring safe browsing and security against prying eyes. MacScan’s blacklisted cookie scanner allows users to remove unwanted tracking cookies without disrupting saved information such as usernames, passwords, or preferences for websites.
The latest version adds additional browser support for the SeaMonkey web browser, scheduler bug fixes, interface changes and the latest definitions to protect against malware affecting Mac OS X.
MacScan 2.9.3 is immediately available for download to try for 30 days or purchase for $29.99. Upgrades from previous versions of MacScan 2 are free.
MacScan Family Pack lets you install the popular MacScan anti-spyware software on up to three computers for only $49.99. Existing single-license owners of MacScan can upgrade to the MacScan Family Pack, allowing installation on up to three computers, for the difference of the original price and the Family Pack price.
