EasyDMARC is providing the solution to prevent a global pandemic of cyber fraud. Losses from cyberattacks are projected to account for $30 trillion by 2025, 95% of which is a result of email phishing, taking into account that hacking is listed to be the 9th most powerful factor to shock the world – according to a World Economic Forum (WEF) study.
And this is while EasyDMARC successfully closed an investment round led by Dutch seed investor Crosspring in November 2020, to accelerate its growth for the next 12 months.
FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) recorded 23,775 complaints and more than $1.7 billion in losses due to BEC fraud schemes. With all the urgency, it is expected to see an increase in corporate investments into anti-hacking security solutions in 2020 and 2021.
While the pandemic has altered daily lives of millions of people both at home and at the workplace, in the “work from home” global reality of doing business, it has become crucial to implement and maintain necessary steps towards email security of a company.
“As an IT investment team, we have kept EasyDMARC on our radar for about a year now. We have thoroughly evaluated, and believe in this startup’s potential based on the strength of its team, as well as communal and industry level benefits in terms of providing a new benchmark for accessible and affordable anti-phishing solution for domain and email infrastructure security,” said Maurice Beck and Verwee founder of Crosspring B.V.
EasyDMARC arms the company technical staff with visibility and control utilizing DMARC XML reports AI-powered anomaly detection and supports by making smart “Easy-Alerts”. It increases ROI by bringing in better email deliverability.
“Since the COVID-19 pandemic, it is crucial, if not a must, to implement investments and maintain necessary processes for company data protection,” said Gerasim Hovhannisyan, CEO at EasyDMARC.
Funding of EasyDMARC wouldn’t have been easily possible without the trust and constant support of Business Angel Network of Armenia (BANA), as well as Angel Investor Club of Armenia (AICA), PicsArt and other investors.
“This investment is an important milestone for our startup as it opens new routes of expanding our user base and boosting email security development initiatives by the year 2022. Our mission is to make e-mail communication safe and accessible for as many corporations and individuals as possible,” said EasyDMARC CTO, Avag Arakelyan.
