Editorial opportunities 2026
Last update: Wednesday, September 16.
This page is updated regularly with upcoming stories and areas where we’re seeking expert insights. PR agencies and vendors can use this as a single reference point to understand what our newsroom is working on.
A few important notes before pitching:
- Please suggest relevant spokespeople rather than sending written comments directly. Once we confirm interest, we’ll provide specific questions.
- We’re not looking to feature marketing, sales, or product leaders. Instead, we want technical experts, CISOs, researchers, or executives who can bring hands-on knowledge and insight.
Videos: Current topics
- Beneficial ownership in vendor due diligence – Operationalize UBO tracing, sanctions and PEP screening, and continuous adverse media across critical suppliers. Build triggers for ownership shifts mid-contract, shell company red flags, and jurisdictional risk that procurement workflows routinely miss. – Submission deadline: September 23, 2026
- What your cyber insurer already knows about you – Break down the underwriting questionnaire, external scan data, and claims history that shape a renewal quote, and show which four or five control attestations actually move premium and coverage terms. – Submission deadline: September 23, 2026
- The breach you’ll inherit: Mapping vendor concentration risk – Demonstrate a dependency-mapping exercise that surfaces where dozens of vendors quietly rely on the same handful of upstream providers, and what contractual and architectural levers exist once that concentration is visible. – Submission deadline: September 23, 2026
- Board deck teardown – Show real (anonymized) security slides side by side with rewritten versions, explaining why maturity scores and threat counts fail with directors while loss exposure, trend lines, and decision requests succeed. – Submission deadline: September 24, 2026
- What the CISO enforcement cases established – Analyze the outcomes and settlements from the last several years of regulatory action against security executives, identifying the specific conduct that created exposure and the documentation practices that protect against it. – Submission deadline: September 24, 2026
- RTO on paper vs. in practice – Present findings from full recovery exercises showing where documented recovery times break down (dependency ordering, credential access, backup integrity) and how to run a test that produces a defensible number. – Submission deadline: September 25, 2026
Hardware
We also spotlight hardware devices, and vendors are welcome to send us units for testing. All review samples should be shipped from within the EU. If shipped from outside the EU, the sender is responsible for covering all import taxes and fees with the courier at the time of shipping.
