Cyber Resilience Summit NZ 2026

August 27, 2026
Hilton, Auckland, New Zealand

Cyber defence extends beyond firewalls, compliance, and established security controls. Effective readiness also depends on regularly testing systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and assessing an organization’s ability to respond to and recover from cyber incidents.

Cybercrime has developed into an increasingly organized and financially motivated activity, while nation-state actors continue to use offensive cyber capabilities for intelligence gathering, espionage, and influence. Geopolitical tensions and armed conflicts have also contributed to the development and spread of malware, sometimes affecting organizations and systems beyond their intended targets.

The conference will examine the evolving characteristics, motivations, and tactics of cyber threat groups. From a defensive perspective, sessions will address practices in security testing, monitoring, incident response, crisis management, and recovery. The programme will also provide practical perspectives on security controls, vulnerability assessment, and risk management for cybersecurity professionals across New Zealand.
