RSA Conference 2003 Details
After a rigorous selection process, organizers of the RSA Conference, the world’s leading e-security event, unveiled the educational program for RSA Conference 2003, which will be held April 13-17 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. Now in its twelfth year as the industry’s foremost security conference, the RSA Conference will feature more than 200 class sessions on the development and implementation of secure applications and devices, hacks and threats, new products and other related topics.
After receiving more than 1,500 speaking proposals, conference organizers enlisted an independent panel of both public and private industry experts to determine the 200 most critical topics on the minds of e-security professionals. Panel experts included representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration, IDC, Bank of America, Lambert & Associates, @stake, Qualys, CheckPoint, Ericsson, RSA Security, Booz Allen Hamilton, and InfoSec Law.
Jim Bidzos, RSA Conference chairman said: “With our attendees’ security interests in mind, we directly involved a program committee of independent security practitioners to develop a robust catalog of classes. Nowhere else in the industry will you find a more comprehensive array of e-security best practices and solutions than at this year’s Conference.”
Within the more than 200 educational presentations selected for the 2003 event, several key themes have emerged, including securing Web services, homeland security and risk identification and avoidance.
RSA Conference 2003 consists of four main components: general sessions, tutorials, class tracks and the expo. The general sessions provide special keynote addresses, expert panels and discussions of general interest. Tutorials and immersion training sessions provide attendees with a comprehensive background on e-security technology, enterprise security and security development techniques. The thirteen different class tracks cover a wide variety of workshops, seminars and presentations developed to address today’s e-security issues for audiences with e-security knowledge ranging from basic to advanced.

The keynote line-up features visionary presentations from senior executives of companies shaping the security industry: Computer Associates, Cryptography Research, HP, Microsoft, Nortel Networks, RSA Security, Sun Microsystems, Symantec and VeriSign.
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with more than 200 suppliers demonstrating the latest e-security products, services and solutions across more than 138,000 square feet of exhibition space. Admission to the vendor exhibition is free and is open to the general public with advance registration (or $50 onsite).
