Network-1 Expands Management Team With Former Computer Associates/Cheyenne Software Executives

Names Jonathan Greene Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Jonna Stopnik Vice President of Alliances and Channel Development

Network-1 Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSSI), a technology leader in intrusion prevention software, announced today the addition of two key executives to the Company’s management team as part of its continuing efforts to position Network-1 for long-term success in the security software market. Jonathan Greene will oversee the Company’s product marketing strategy and business development activities. Jonna Stopnik will lead Network-1’s partnership and distribution channel development initiatives.

Mr. Greene brings more than 18 years experience in the software industry. Most recently, as the senior vice president of marketing, he developed product and marketing strategies for startup PANACYA, and while vice president of product marketing at System Management ARTS he created and implemented strategic marketing and business development plans for their network management analysis solutions. Beginning in 1993, Jon spent six years at Cheyenne Software, which was acquired by Computer Associates International (NYSE: CA) in 1997. His responsibilities included marketing and product strategy for directory management, storage, and security product lines.

Ms. Stopnik has an exceptional 19-year track record of sales, alliance and management experience in high-profile Internet and software infrastructure start-ups. Prior to joining Network-1, she was most recently the director of strategic alliances for Art Technology Group (Nasdaq: ARTG) and senior director of system integrator alliances for Broadvision (Nasdaq: BVSN). Jonna also served as vice president of sales for Solution-Soft Systems and as vice president of distribution channels for Cheyenne Software and later Computer Associates. Her considerable experience also includes senior management roles with Novell (Nasdaq: NOVL), Avnet Corporation (NYSE: AVT) and Xircom, a division of Intel (Nasdaq: INTC).
