Astaro’s new version 7 is compatible with Vista

Astaro announced that its recently released Version 7 software is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.
 
“We’re happy to report that all of Astaro’s virtual private network (VPN) applications, including SSL VPN, IPSec VPN, and other popular remote access options, are fully Vista compatible,” confirmed Jan Hichert, Astaro CEO.
 
During the company’s Version 7 development phase, SSL VPN drivers were updated to a newer version that supports Vista. Therefore, SSL VPN in Astaro Version 7 is fully Vista-ready and ready for enterprise use.
 
Additionally, L2TP over IPSec and PPTP (Windows Vista included) have also been successfully tested against Version 7. This, combined with the new Astaro Secure Client, makes all remote access variants Vista-compatible.
