Less than six weeks till SCALE 7X

Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE 7x) is one of the conferences we are media sponsoring via our publications. The event starts in just over a month and here is the latest update from the organizers:

SCALE 7x is rapidly approaching. And while the economy presents challenges, the upcoming Expo looks to be be very successful. The Expo floor is filling nicely – there are only a few dotORG booths left, and some commercial exhibitor booths. The speaker slots filled up promptly. The current list of speakers is available over here.  The session tracks will be published in the near future.

There are still some seats in the SCALE University training classes available. The class topics are “Introduction to Virtualized Storage Management”, “Internal documentation for SysAdmins”, “Disaster Recovery: Will you Survive?”, and “Saving the World with Fedora Directory Server”.  More information on the classes is available on the SCALE U web page.

There are still some hotel rooms available at the reduced rate, too. The end of Early Bird registration is approaching – iyt ends at 2359 PST, Jan 19th.
