Verint’s Luminar to boost security resilience through a proactive customer-centric defense approach

Verint Systems, a global provider of data mining software for cyber security and intelligence, announced that it has launched Luminar, a new Cyber Threat Intelligence software solution that boosts security resilience through a proactive customer-centric defense approach.

Luminar was introduced at Verint’s Cyber Intelligence’s Annual User Forum that took place in Italy and is another addition to Verint’s Cyber Intelligence wide portfolio.

Luminar aggregates data from surface, deep and dark web sites, social networks and hidden platforms, based on the organization’s critical assets, industry, location, and pre-defined threat hunting requirements.

The customer-centric approach ensures Luminar delivers context-based Actionable Intelligence, enabling customers, government organizations, critical infrastructure and enterprise sectors the ability to identify targeted malicious activities and reveal attacks in the making.

“Luminar was designed to help security teams overcome the three most pressing challenges they deal with on a daily basis: how and where to find targeted threat data, how to prioritize and validate relevant data and how to turn data into action and mitigate risks,” says Verint’s Shai Arbel, VP Cyber Threat Intelligence.

“Luminar is focused on delivering targeted, Actionable Intelligence, and shortens time-to-insights with ready-to-use finished intelligence from day one. This makes the system easy to use and implement both by novice and advanced users, which lowers the skill barrier and helps address the shortage of analysts.”

Luminar is the latest addition to Verint’s Cyber Intelligence portfolio and can be deployed as a cloud or on premise solution. Luminar is amplified by Verint’s world-class social and open source intelligence technologies and fully integrates with other Verint products, delivering automated updates to its threat actor attribution and threat hunting processes.
