Sophos and myinternet Sign International OEM Agreement
Anti-virus specialist and leading schools’ internet management provider team up to offer email gateway protection
Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, announced today that it has signed an international OEM agreement with educational specialist internet platform developer, myinternet Limited.
Under the agreement, Sophos’s award-winning virus scanning technology will be integrated with myinternet’s management tools which have been specially designed for the education market.
“Schools can be hotbeds for virus outbreaks, so it’s vital their networks are adequately protected by anti-virus solutions,” said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant, Sophos Anti-Virus. “Through the agreement with myinternet, Sophos has a great opportunity to extend its penetration into the education market and help protect school networks from virus threats.”
