Cobion Shows Web Usage with Live Graphical Reports

Boston, MA – October 23, 2003 – Cobion (www.cobion.com ), a provider of content security products including Web URL filtering and anti-spam, today launched OrangeReporter 1.0, a reporting tool that make it easy for administrators to access Internet usage metrics, employee behavior and other Web surfing data. Using simple point-and-click access, OrangeReporter is freely available and works in conjunction with Cobion’s existing OrangeBox Web filtering product for enterprise-wide Internet content security.

Designed for IT managers as well as for human resource professionals, OrangeReporter provides companies with specific employee Internet usage trends and highlights risks without requiring an IT administrator to run separate log reports. Managers can instantaneously access key employee and departmental Internet usage data to uncover wasteful or time-consuming Web surfing.

The comprehensive nature of OrangeReporter’s real-time and interactive custom reporting is unique. Compliance with corporate Internet usage policies can be monitored easily based on the most up-to-the-minute metrics. OrangeReporter enables IT administrators to fine-tune format and timing with customizable filtering and scheduling.

Report examples include:
* Visited sites by category – daily, weekly, monthly or in user-defined intervals;
* Internet usage summaries and trends by department;
* Individual employee online activity by time of day;
* Top ten most-blocked Web sites.

OrangeReporter is not limited to its 110 pre-defined reports, which means users can drill down through data to find more information about specific web usage patterns. Access to OrangeReporter is password protected, ensuring employee privacy and restricting reports distribution to only those with authority to view them. In addition, reports can be anonymized to assess organizational behavior without revealing individuals. Reports can be exported in ten formats including PDF, HTML, XML, Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.

OrangeReporter is available immediately at no additional cost to customers with Cobion OrangeBox Web 2.0 Enterprise, and is also available to all prospective customers as a standard part of the Cobion web filtering solution.
