GFI Offers New GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. And GFI Network Server Monitor Bundle

London, UK, 22 June 2004 – GFI today launched the GFI LANguard Security Event Log Monitor (S.E.L.M.) and GFI Network Server Monitor bundle, enabling customers to purchase GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. 5 and GFI Network Server Monitor 5.5 together at special reduced pricing, starting from $695 to monitor five servers. With this new bundle, GFI once again blasts traditional price barriers to advanced network and security software.

GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. and GFI Network Server Monitor complement each other and can be used together as a powerful network monitoring duo: GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. performs network-wide event-log monitoring, allowing administrators to be alerted to important security events immediately, whereas GFI Network Server Monitor automatically detects network and server issues, (for example a web or mail server outage), and can send alerts as well as take action, for example, reboot the machine or restart a service.

New competitive bundle pricing

The bundle makes network server and event log monitoring accessible to all administrators thanks to its lower price: Whereas before, a pack to monitor 10 servers via GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. and unlimited servers via GFI Network Server Monitor cost US$1649, this is now priced at US$1,295 – 21% less than the former price. An overview of price reductions may be viewed in the table at http://www.gfi.com/news/press.asp?release=selmnsmbundle&lcode=en.

Full bundle pricing is available online at http://www.gfi.com/pricing/pricelist.asp?product=lanselm (bundle pricing only applies if both products are purchased at the same time).

* Monitor for critical security events network-wide, and detect attacks and malicious network users
* Receive alerts about critical events on Exchange, ISA, SQL and IIS Servers
* Back up and clear event logs network-wide, and archive them to a central database.
