Syngress Publishing Announces the Release of “Zero Day Exploit: Countdown to Darkness”
Rockland, MA – Syngress Publishing, Inc., today announced the publication of “Zero Day Exploit: Countdown to Darkness” (ISBN: 1-931836-09-4).
“Zero Day Exploit” is now available in bookstores and at online retailers. Andrew Williams, Vice President, Syngress Publishing, said, “This is a realistic and downright scary tale of cyber-terrorism. It takes the reader from the casinos of Las Vegas to the slums of Manila to FBI Headquarters, as an elite team of security hotshots race to stop Islamic terrorists from crippling the economies of the Western world. This is written by the world’s leading counterterrorism experts, and is all the more chilling for its authenticity.”
“So much of our critical national infrastructure hinges on technology, which is so fragile, that a zero-day bug in the wrong hands could lead to any equally bad attack. I’m not, for a moment, going to speculate on what or how that attack may come, but suffice to say that the potential is there; the threat is real,” said David Litchfield, Managing Director, NGSSoftware and author of the book’s foreword.
The author is Rob Shein and the technical editor is Marcus Sachs.
