SSH Unveils SSH Tectia End-To-End Communications Security For Full Range Of IBM Eserver Linux Platforms

SSH Tectia, the leading end-to-end communications security solution for the enterprise, now supports Linux running on a wide range of IBM® eServerTM platforms, including the zSeries®, iSeriesTM, pSeries®, OpenPowerTM, and BladeCenterTM JS20 servers. According to IBM, the SSH security solution is the 1000th application available for the IBM Linux on POWERTM platform, a result of increasing ISV enthusiasm since it was introduced in November of 2002.
The new versions of the SSH Tectia solution will provide the broad base of IBM system users with robust, comprehensive enterprise security, including secure system administration, secure application connectivity, and secure file transfer functionality. As an IBM Business Partner, SSH has developed its SSH Tectia support for eServer platforms in cooperation with IBM by participation in the pilot program for the IBM eServer Application AdvantageTM for Linux (Chiphopper) offering.
