Fortify enjoys strongest first quarter to date
Fortify Software announced its strongest first quarter to date. During that time, Fortify secured significant customer wins across multiple industries, with companies like Reuters, Ask.com, the U.S. Air Force (USAF), General Dynamics, the Royal Bank of Canada, Booz Allen Hamilton and Scottrade, while also expanding its global network of VARs and software security service partners.
In addition, the company augmented its product portfolio through the addition of a new version of Fortify Defender and the successful acquisition of Secure Software, Inc., while also receiving industry recognition through awards from leading industry publications. Fortify also expanded its presence within the government market and added proven industry veteran Michelle Dickey as its new vice president of Federal Sales. Perhaps most telling, Fortify received license renewals from 100 percent of its customers.
“Fortify is one of the primary catalysts in the current ‘sea change’ in industry thinking about how code is developed and deployed securely,” said John M. Jack, CEO of Fortify Software. “This role has resulted in significant growth this quarter, with the company continuing to see success on all fronts. In particular, our ability to continue to renew licenses for our customer base is indicative of the deep need the market has for this technology.”
