As per Interpol, the continent witnessed a significant spike in cybercrime post COVID-19 where the online banking platforms had to endure a 238% rise in cyberattacks in 2020. Consequently, Africa and Middle East’s cybersecurity market has been projected to reach $23.4 billion by 2023.
