Google Chrome 7 includes security fixes

Google Chrome 7.0.517.41 has been released to the Stable and Beta channels for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Security fixes:

  • Possible autofill / autocomplete profile spamming.
  • Crash with forms.
  • Browser crash with form autofill.
  • Possible URL spoofing on page unload.
  • Pop-up block bypass.
  • Crash on shutdown with Web Sockets.
  • Bad construction of PATH variable.
  • Possible memory corruption with animated GIF.
  • Failure to sandbox worker processes on Linux.
  • Stale elements in an element map.
